“Yuvan’s support is unforgettable” - Jyothi Krishna

Hero Gopi Chand’s upcoming film ‘Oxygen’ is directed by A.M.Jyothi Krishna and is excited about the release this 30th. The film stars Raasi Khanna and Anu Emmanuel in lead roles and here is an informative interview with the director…

How do you feel?

I feel tensed as the film is approaching the release date. The film has come out really good and will be a sure shot hit but how big a hit it would become, is out of my hands. I made sure the film abides by the nativity, Mass and commercial elements.

How was it working with Gopi Chand?

I wanted to make Oxygen with a big hero and so approached Mr.Gopi Chand. Gopi Chand did full justice to the role and his image will be changed after the film. Gopi Chand moved away from his action hero image and acted in a multitude of emotions in the film.

Tell us about the actors in the film?

15 senior artists worked for the film including Mr.Jagapati Babu and Mr.Sarath Kumar. Thanks to their support, the film was finished in time. Also, since I’ve grown up in a film environment, I was able to wrap up the shoot with in the designed time period.

About Yuvan Sankar Raja?

Yuvan’s support for the film is unforgettable. As soon as I narrated him the film, Yuvan came up with 6 songs, but since we couldn’t inscribe all the songs in the film, we’ve only kept 4 of them. Also, since Yuvan was busy with Mr.Ilayaraja’s concert, Mr.Chinna has scored the re-recording for the film.

Your next projects? 

I’m completely occupied as a director. I also have to take charge of things from my father’s production and manage several different productions. After Oxygen is released, I’ll make my next announcement.
