How did you imagine a blind character for Ravi Teja?

Commercial films have the space to embed creativity. So, while I was pondering on the story, I imagined how it would be for my hero to be blind. I watched Mohan Lal’s ‘Oppam’ in which he played the blind guy and that gave me the confidence to develop a full-fledged script.

How did Ravi Teja react to the story?

As I was halfway through the narration, Ravi Teja had his doubts on the subject. But as I finished my narration, Ravi Teja was thrilled about the idea and you’ll see his best performance yet.

What’s the story?

Hero of the story is born blind and how he navigates through different phases of life, despite being blind, forms the rest of the story. Hero’s mom wants her son to be a police officer and how he achieved his mother’s goal is exciting to watch on screen. Though we felt it was risky to portray a blind protagonist, the rushes boosted our confidence.

Will there be romantic scenes between the hero and heroine?

Since the hero is blind, we didn’t vouch for any romantic scenes or dream songs for that matter. Every song will have a well thought out concept behind it

What did Dil Raju say after watching the film?

He never necessarily praised me but loved the way I portrayed the hero’s character in the second half.

What about the film with Jr.N.T.R?

I’ve narrated a part of the script but was shelved due to some obligations. I’ll meet him again with a new story.
