Working with pawan gives a special kick - Director Bobby

Bobby debuts in the super hit "Power". It brought him good fame and also an opportunity to work with Pavan Kalyan. Their combination hits in "Saardar Gabbar Singh". 

This movie is ready to be released on April 8. On this occasion, the director spoke to the reporters.

How was your working experience with Pawan? 
My first movie "Power" is released in September 2014. I received a phone call from director Sharath Marar in November. I couldn’t digest the offer to work with Pawan sir for a while. I felt it be a dream until I saw my name in advertisements. I took 5 months to adapt the script that Pawan sir explained. I was afraid to listen to the story because the movie is by the name "Gabbar Singh" and should be far better than the first movie. But after listening to the story I felt there is span to make this movie a commercial entertainer.

Is the news that Pawan is more involved in the direction part true? 
Yes, there is news that he is involved in direction. As a scriptwriter, he helped me in picturing the movie, but he never involved in direction and photography. I had complete freedom in directing which helped me to work happily. If there is no sync between us there is no reason for Pawan sir to bear me, he is a quick decision-maker and hence we never had a problem.

Is that entire movie is showed in the trailer?
Kalyan’s movie will have huge expectations so we have tried to show the entire story in the trailer. We have done this to give a visual treat to the audience in theaters. This process is followed in Hollywood and Bollywood. We didn’t have an intention of hiding the story line.

What’s the movie progress?
We have shot the film from April 2015 to January 2016 so playfully. In January Kalyan sir said why we can’t release the movie in this April, this created a sense of tension in Sharath sir and me. But we started believing it for once and increased the pace of work, worked continuously from then. The movie was shot without a break.Songs shooting is completed yesterday in Switzerland and we got a good response from sensor board.  

What is the best compliment you received from Pawan?  
It’s not that easy to work with Pawan Kalyan. Working with him has increased my patience and gives a special kick.  Appreciation, compliment, and strength that he showcases are completely different. I’m a great fan of Chiranjeevi, Pawan told him that I’m directing very well and even you should work under his direction, this is the biggest appreciation from Pawan. I have decided to take a photograph with Pawan when I went to meet him but after 15 minutes he said that I’m going to direct the movie. By the time I reached farm house Pawan busy planting trees.

 How did you felt after working with Pawan?
Kalyan garu is a multi-tasking person. He works in the movies and parallelly, he thinks about the people’s problems. I have learned this quality from Pawan Kalyan garu.

Does movie contain political dialogues?  
In this movie, there are no political dialogues. According to the story line, dialogues will be seen. As Pawan is in politics you would have thought like that.

It is whose idea was that of keeping Chiru’s Veena Step?  
In this movie we thought of touching some scene of Chiru garu, so we have kept the famous step of Indra cinema. We have shown how it looks like if Pawan do that step. We should hear the response of audience now.

Which type of movies do you personally prefer?

I love to do out and out mass commercial movies.
