We lost a Great Actor: Suresh Kondeti

Suresh Kondeti, Santhosham magazine president, expressed grief over the death of Gollapudi Maruthi Rao. 'I was very close to Maruthi Rao. He also received Maa Santosham award. His loss is the biggest deficit which cannot be cured. The industry has lost a good screenwriter and actor.

Gollapudi Maruthi Rao has passed away on Thursday afternoon in Chennai private hospital while undergoing treatment. Maruthi Rao featured in over 250 films and played many roles. He was introduced to teh film industry with Intlo Ramayya Veedhilo Krishnayya (1982) and his last film was the Aadi Saikumar starrer Jodi (2019).
