We Girls Worked Hard- Samantha

Samantha, Senior Artist Lakshmi, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh starring in the film Oh Baby is releasing today. Nandini Reddy is directing this film and produced by Suresh Productions, Guru Films, People Media Factory, and Cross Pictures. Suresh Babu, Sunitha Thati, TG Vishwa Prasad, and Thomas Kim are the producers. On the occasion of the movie release, Samantha spoke to media.

Are you taking the whole responsibility of the film?

This film was very special in my career. I wish many people to watch the film. That's why I am taking more care.

Did you take care of Majili?

I mean, Naga Chaitanya and me doing a film after marriage made me more responsible.

Do you visit Tirupathi regularly?

I usually go to Tirupathi when Chaitanya's movies release. However, now, for the first time in my career, I went to Tirupathi for my movie release. The film came out very well. The crowd will automatically fill for star heroes like Mahesh, NTR and Allu Arjun’s films. Getting crowd to theaters as a star heroine is a bit tough. I am trying my level best in promoting my film.

How do you feel acting in comedy?

I know the rhythm of emotional scenes, romance, and drama. However, don't know the comedy rhythm. Comedy is easy to watch, it’s easy to laugh, but those who do comedy will be drained by the evening. I was very familiar with the film. Rajendra Prasad taught me very well. 

What kind of vigilance did you take when acting like a 60-year-old grandma?

I have no memories of growing up with my grandmother. That's why I went to some old age homes and spend some time with them. As they grow older, they become younger in their works. That helped me a lot.

How do you feel working with lady director?

Nandini Reddy is well known to me for a long time. She is bold and pure-hearted. I hope there would be no gender differences in the future. She is very genuine. Those who have the capability will get chances in the industry. 7-8 girls were involved in the project. No one missed a single day of the shoot. We have been careful not to make any difference when girls do. 

Your cutout was kept near Devi Theater?

What's the matter of keeping cutouts? The collection should be huge. U-turn movie got good reviews but could not grab more collections.

How do you feel when anyone asks about pregnancy?

No issue. I will also ask my friends that they planned for children. Due to the mercy of God, I am able to be independent. I can tell that no plans for children this year.

Do you have a desire to act under someone's direction?

Sekhar Kammala will project heroines uniquely. I want to work in his direction.

Any idea of directing and producing in the future?

No idea on directing but I like to produce lady oriented stories.

Do you like remakes?

Actually, remakes stage is running in my career. However, I am not planning to make any remakes. 96 was on sets. I played a minor role in Manmadhudu 2. The rest of the films will be announced soon.
