The first ever combo between director Murugadoss and Mahesh Babu, Spyder is rising expectations among the fans and the crew held a press event to discuss the process of the film. Super Star Mahesh Babu spoke about how hard it was to make a bilingual film despite all the preparations….

How was it working with director Murugadoss?

It was a great feeling. I’ve been longing to work with him since a long time and it finally happened. He was the reason why I did Spyder and to have made my first bilingual film with him is a something I cherish.

Wasn’t it hard making a bilingual?

At first, I thought it was quite easy to make a bilingual as I just have to recite the dialogues in both languages. Soon after the 3rd of shooting, I realized how hard it is to make a bilingual as there are different modulations to each language. Only great directors like Murugadoss can pull off this sort of a film.

What’s the interesting part about the film?

The film has good action episodes and emotions as well. You can expect all the elements of a Murugadoss film along with a subliminal social message weaved around it. I’m sure everyone will love the film.

Tell us about Rakul’s acting

 Since I know both Tamil and Telugu, I pulled off the role pretty fine. But even though Rakul doesn’t know Tamil, she did a great job and never caused any hassle.

Haris Jayaraj’s music grows on you as you keep listening to it. The background score is eccentric as well and he’s given the best output

What’s the difference between Tamil and Telugu versions?

Except for a slight difference in the runtime, there’s no difference between both the versions. We have swapped a few actors for perfection but otherwise, both the Telugu and Tamil audience will love the film.
