This top star was the first choice for Fidaa

Sensible director Shekhar Kammula is making a strong comeback as a master of love genre with ‘Fidaa’. The director wanted a huge star, Prince Mahesh Babu to play the role as it would have enhanced the story but Mahesh couldn’t commit to the film due to market demands. Shekhar Kammula also said that all his assumptions about Prince Mahesh were shattered after their meeting and that he encouraged him to make the film.

Starring Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi, The film’s trailer and songs received an amazing response on the web and the audio launch event was launched recently. The film is ready to hit the theaters on 21st July.
