How did the film come out?

I’ve seen the output and it came out really good. I’m saying this with much confidence as an audience and not as a director. The film’s quality is evident the moment I saw the rush.

Is the film influenced by your style?

This movie is nowhere similar to my style and may be that’s why I loved it. The hero credited you for his acting. thoughts? Since he worked closely with me for a long time, He might have used my body language as a reference.

You opposed as a hero in the start, Correct?

I chose films because of my passion and drive since childhood, But he chose to do films because of me. After he’s done MSC Physics, I wanted him to do a P.Hd. I opposed him even when Jakka Hari Prasad proposed his name but after analyzing some shots in the acting workshops, He seemed fit for the role.

Shouldn’t you have made this film with a star hero?

The decision is completely up to Hari Prasad. If the film was made with an affluent star, The film would’ve had a huge advantage.

How did you feel about his acting?

He played out the intense scenes very well. Several emotions like anger and grief were easily conveyed and he did a 70% justice to the role.

As a Director, Would you give him a chance?

When you are equipped with skills, you can pretty much live the way you want. If this film goes on to make a hit, He’ll have 2 more offers in his hand. This film’s release will determine his future. Since he is a good writer as well, He can keep writing for a living and I have not made any promises about further opportunities.

In what aspects are you responsible for the film?

Since the story is not mine, I wasn’t burdened with the shoot. During production, I got involved when needed and never tried to pass off unnecessary advice. Mostly my brother and Thomas Reddy have handled the production.

We heard that you haven’t visited the sets even once. True?

Yes. Because when 2 directors are on the same set, Their views differ greatly. Also, people might assume that I've directed the film and Hariprasad might lose credit despite his hard work. It’s said that director means 20% creativity and 80% management.

What do you personally feel?

We can have control only until we write the story. Once on the sets, The director has to deal with 400 crew members with out hurting their sensibilities. It’s 20% effort - 80% management and 80% effort - 20% creativity.
