Nara Rohit’s upcoming flick Kathalo Rajakumari is directed by Mahesh Surapaneni, a debutant in Tollywood. The new age director shared his experiences and fears of making his first feature film in the interview below

Where do you come from?

I’m a native of Vijayawada. I’ve done my engineering there and went on to do M.SC in the U.S. I’ve returned to India and entered films. After assisting Mr.Teja in Neeku naaku dash dash, I’ve worked with Kona Venkat and Parcuhuri brothers and Vijayanthi movies

Since it’s your first film, do you feel tense?

Yes, This is my first film as a director but as the output is good I’m not as tense. I’m sure the audience will love it too

Is Nara Rohit playing a negative role?

He is the villain in the film and his character is designed to be wholly negative. For the most part of the film, he’ll be seen as a villain. The audience will surely love him as he’s never done a negative role before.

What is Naga Shourya’s role in the film?

Naga Shourya has done a guest role and has 25 minutes of screen time. When the story drives into a cine backdrop, Naga Shourya will be seen in these sequences
