Tell us about your film?

This is the first Indian space film and will be memorable in Indian Film History

How did the film happen?

Director Shakti Sounder Rajan came to me saying that we should attempt something new and spoke about his idea. Until he mentioned it, I didn’t know it was a space film. Though everyone thought it was impossible, my director has proved it.

What’s the story?

I can’t reveal the entire story but only a bit of it. India faces a threat and the defence department tries to avoid the threat. What’s the threat and How did the Indian defence save the country forms the rest of the story. It has to be witnessed on screen

What’s your character in the film?

I play an important role in the defence space division and to be exact, I’m an escape artist. Escape artist is the one who can get out of almost any tricky situation.

A space film will be compared to Hollywood standards. What would you say?

Yes, definitely there will be comparisons and its valid because only then, can we prove our mettle. This film is no less than a Hollywood film.

Some viewers are comparing it with Hollywood films?

That’s because the concept of both the film is same. Some scenes might look similar but that’s unavoidable but some scenes are going to be even greater than Hollywood flicks.

How hard did you work for the film?

Director has done the majority of hard work because the whole film is based on his vision. Ajax Media has worked on the graphics for the film and almost a 200 technicians have worked rigorously for 5 months on the project. Shooting space shots were also very challenging

Was your son part of the film?

Yes, my son played a character in the film and immediately agreed to act, when I asked him to. It was an unforgettable experience to work with my son

How long are the space episodes in the film?

The space sequence begins 20 mins before the interval and 80 percent of the film is set in space.

How are the promotions going on in Telugu?

They are going really well and that’s why I’ve called for a press meet. Everything is going fine
