Tarak to play Sr. NTR role in Mahanati

Legendary actors Sr.NTR and Savitri starred in some of the most memorable Telugu classics like Gundamma Katha, Maya bazaar and Missamma and now the stage is set for ‘Mahanati’, Savitri’s biopic.

The film portrays the life and legacy left behind by the great actress Savitri and already roped in major starcast. Jr. NTR will be acting in his grandfather's shoes while Keerthi suresh, Naga chaitanya and Dulquer Salman play Savitri, ANR and Gemini Ganeshan respectively and got Samantha playing a journalist. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin (Yevade subramaniam) and produced by Vijayanti movies.
