Sri Devi clears the air about Bahubali

While Sri Devi is busy with promoting her upcoming film ‘MOM’, she’s constantly inquired about her decision of turning down the role of Shivagami in Baahubali. During one such interview with NTV Telugu, The star chose to clear the air and came out by saying ‘’ It is my personal choice to decide what roles I choose to do and not do. I’ve refused many roles earlier and don’t understand why they are not brought up?’’. Meanwhile, during a recent episode of ABN’s Open Heart with RK, Rajamouli said that Sri Devi demanded a ridiculous amount and other requirements which the film makers couldn't simply afford.’’ As we already had such a high budget, It’s a good thing she turned downed the role’’ he added.

Sri Devi was apparently hurt by this comment and said ''I know Mr. Rajamouli as a decent person and I would have been happy to work with him, but his recent comments hurt my integrity and I’m greatly saddened by the whole incident. On a side note, The Industry wouldn’t tolerate me for so long if I ever made such demands''
