Shraddha Das Interview about Guntur Talkies

What is your role ?
My character in this movie is ‘Revolver Rani’ and is not at all related to my real life. Audience will be surprised at my character. My look in it resembles Kangna Ranaut and character is bold. This was a challenging role. It’s a full length role with two different shades in it.

Explain about the behavior of your character?
It’s a confusion comedy movie. I am happy that Praveen Sattar has chose me for this movie. I could not have acted this will if Praveen Sattar wasn't  the Director. Any other heroine will not accept this character in Telugu. One should have guts to act in the character of ‘Revolver Rani’, it’s a strong role. Rashmi and Siddu have co-starred  me. I do not share any scene with Rashmi. It's the heroine who is Generally kidnapped but in this hero Siddhu is kidnapped.

You appear with Guns, any reason for it ?
Real guns like AK47 were used in this movie. I should hold heavy guns with both the hands. Even usage of Dummy bullets didn't reduce the sound, I have managed it by plugging my ears with cotton. Not just noise even Sparkles used to spread all over my face but Director has instructed to keep my eyes open while firing.

How's Your experience working with this Director ?
After the being chosen, I have questioned director Praveen if he is confident that I can make justice to my role as I have never acted in such roles. Audience can either accept my role and appreciate me or hate my choice of choosing such roles.

Are you ready to do Character oriented roles as well ?
I do not care about fame that a character fetches, what I care about is whether it's a good character and have I justified it . I did the dubbing for my character in this movie. My Language is little funny.

Any plans of Glamour roles ?
I have done many glamour roles till now and it’s boring to do the same again so I have selected a different  roles.Rashmi will appear in glamorous role and mine is a less glamorous role.

Do you have plans of working in item songs?
After the song 'Tingo Tingo', I got many offers asking me to work in item songs which I rejected, as I don't want to be an item girl. I will work in item songs only if the movie is from a renowned banner and the movie is good .
