Shourya is a class man: Manoj

Manchu Manoj and Regina pairing in the movie Shourya directed by Dasharadh under the banner Suraksh Entertainments presented by Baby Trisha. Movie is produced by malkapuram Shiva and is all set for release on March 4th.On this occasion Manoj spoke to the reporters....

Can you tell us about Shourya?
It's a thrilling love story without fights and stunts. It has sensible comedy. Generally audience expect mass ailments from my movie but this is a class story. Gained 8kgs weight to match the class look wearing formals. Response for the first look has built confidence in us.

What's the message that you convey through this movie?
Shourya's character in real life can be compared to Dasaradh's character. Dasaradh is number one in explaining the work to artists and extracting best from them.Every person has both good and evil, we just elevated the same and made it the concept of movie. Main story starts after the first ten minutes.

Seems that your movies are in a proper plan?  
I have never planned to act in a particular Movie. After "Attack" Dasharadh narrated a story for half and hour and showed how much he loved it. Immediately I have accepted the offer. We are very confident about the movie. Till now I have acted in comedy and high energy roles but for the first time I am appearing in a settled role.My dad appreciated me for my appearance. Regina has performed well justifying her role.

How's your life after marriage?
I know Pranathi since five years. Even before marriage I struggled a lot to convince her (smiling).  Marriage didn't bring great difference in my life.

Is there any difference in two movies that you acted with Dasaradh?
There's no difference in him since my first movie except that confidence in him is greatly increased. Dasaradh Handled this script carefully.

There are many movies ready for release on this 4th?
These days all the movies released on same day are successful if they are good. Director Nandini Reddy and Praveen Satturu are good friends of mine we keep teasing each other via tweets. After releasing our movies we have planned to party together.

How involved is your father in selecting the scripts?
After my Nenu Meeku Telusa movie, dad's involvement in selecting the scripts has reduced.I have completely taken the responsibility of selecting the scripts as i wanted to proudly tell my children and wife that the food they eat is mine and not my dad's.

What's the Attack release date?  
Shourya has got great hype since commencement. So we thought of releasing attack after shaurya to bring good returns to the producers.

Will Pedarayudu be re released?
On the occasion that my father has completed 40 years in the industry we are planning few events as part of which Pedarayudu will be released.
