She Grabbed a Chance to Play Shashikala role in Thalaivi

The role where Priyamani is supposed to play now came to Poorna! The heroine who starred in the films 'Nuvvila Nenila' and ‘Avunu’ in Telugu is  now doing as judge on the reality shows. The biopic 'Thalaivi’ is based on the life of late actress Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. Directed by Al Vijay, Kangana Ranaut plays Jayalalitha. Priyamani was first considered to play the role of Jayalalitha assistant Sasikala. Now the character has come to Poorna.

The director of Thalaivi didn’t take out Priyamani wontedly. She dropped out of the film because she couldn't do it because of the dates was not adjusted. As an artist, this is a huge opportunity to Poorna. In recent years, her chances of becoming a heroine have diminished. She had done small roles in big films also. She is seen in a song of Mahesh babu’s Srimanthudu long back. She got a good opportunity to play this role in the film Thalaivi that will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Kangana Ranaut Craze is so strong that the film's openings are tight. More than that the audience are interested in the film Jayalalitha Biopic.
