Samantha to play Mithali?

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has just finished shooting for Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and a new announcement comes up. The actress was approached to play the female lead in Mithali Raj’s Biopic. Mithali Raj is the captain of Indian Women’s cricket team and won accolades for scoring most consecutive half-centuries and being first woman cricketer to score 1000 world cup runs.

Samantha is tying the knot with Naga Chaitanya on 6ht and 7ht October in both Hindu and Christian traditions. The film still needs to be finalized and the official confirmation is awaited.
