Director R.G.V - Akkineni Nagarjuna’s film ‘Siva’ created an imprint on the modern Telugu celluloid and is still a go-to-guide for several directors in the industry. Such crazy combination is about to repeat again and RGV is producing the film under his own banner, Company. The film’s opening shot was filmed at Annapurna studios where Siva’s first shot was filmed too. R.G.V’s mother gave clap to the film and R.G.V’s long time friend Sudheer Chandra Padiri is presenting the film.

R.G.V said “Many people conceive me as emotionless and numb to sensibilities, it’s not entirely true. My first film Siva began here 25 years ago, as my dad gave the first clap. Now my mother gave the first clap for the film. Regardless of your talent, you should avail an opportunity. I was born as a director at Annapurna studious. Venkat, Surendra trusted me and Siva happened. I don’t believe in god but in Nagarjuna. He saw the dedication and honesty in me to agree to make Siva with me. I was a nobody before Siva and am now a renowned director. After so many years, when I narrated the story to Mr.Nagarjuna, he was very excited. His excitement boosted my confidence to go ahead and make the film. Many say that I’ve gone nuts and ran out of juice. Well, I might have gone a bit nuts but still running on the juice. This film is here to prove it.“

Akkineni Nagarjuna said “My mind is still sane! I woke up at 4 A.M today out of excitement. I wish everyday would be the same. I haven’t worried about a hit back when I was doing Siva and am not worrying now either. I have my complete trust in the film. During the filming of Siva, my dad said that we attain maturity after 28 years. So, Me and RGV are rolling this project with a new level of maturity, after 28 years! My character is very inspiring in the film and RGV is so passionate about the film. He is texting at late nights about the film. We’ll be shooting for 10 days this month and after Akhil’s film is out, we’ll be going for a second schedule. We can’t wait to release the film. The film will be rich with technical values and this is not a sequel to Siva.“
