Ram Charan dual role for Rangasthalam

It is well evident from the title and first look posters of Sukumar’s ‘Rangasthalam 1985’ that it’s set in the 80’s. But could there be a contemporary story running as a sub plot? It might be a possibility as the sources predict Ram charan in a dual role for the film. While The movie is currently being filmed in Rajamundry, it's Hyderabad schedule is expected to film the scenes involving the dual role.
