Rakul Preet Singh about Sarrainodu

Rakul Preet Singh is the most accepted heroine. She has acted in "Sarrainodu" with Allu Arjun.

Can you describe your character in the movie?
I acted as a traditional village girl, Mahalakshmi, but its surprising that I'm considered as a glamor doll
despite my roles like this. In "Venkatadri Express", "Current Theega", "Kick 2", "Pandaga Chesko" I'm seen glamorously but in the recent "Nannaku Prematho" and "Bruce lee" I won’t look so glamorous. I'm not bothered about acting with makeup or without it; I just make sure the impact it has on the character I take up. In this movie, it has a great impact on my character. There is a lot of scope for performing in this character.i have not done any homework specifically for this movie, just followed the director's instruction. Boyapati sir is a director who has clarity about the script.

What kind of roles do you wish to play?
I feel bored playing similar roles, even the audience won’t love to see me in similar roles. In fact, there is no connection between the character I played in this movie and my real character. One should select roles which will excite them.

How is your working experience with Boyapati?
"Sarrainodu" is a commercial entertainer. Heroine appearance in Boyapati’s movie is special. In this movie,  not just mine but Catherine role has depth. Though my name in the movie is Mahalakshmi hero calls me by a pet name. You must watch the movie to know that pet name. I am improving my dance. Allu Arjun is a great dancer. From my last 3 movies am working with good dancers, this is improving my performance day by day. After rehearsals, I can perform any step.

How was working with mega heroes back to back?
I haven’t planned to work with mega heroes. I'm just accepting the opportunities I receive.

Heard that you’ve bought a house in Hyderabad?
Yes, I bought a house recently in Hyderabad, but there are rumors that someone has gifted me that house. I
don’t understand how one can create such rumor. I've bought that house by saving penny by penny. I consider the house as a minimum need of any individual. I have planned accordingly and bought a car, house and established a business. I know the hard times that I faced in buying. In fact, if there is someone who is ready to spend on me, at most I would go shopping.

How is your gym business?
My gym business is running quite well. 100 people have joined in the first month. Our gym specialty is
that you will never gain weight once you lose it.

Who takes care of you?
My father takes care of all the monetary things. I have my card and I use it whenever required. My position
today is not just because of luck and destiny but because of hard work. Telugu industry and Telugu audience are encouraging me. I have felt very happy when Chiranjeevi sir has complimented me during "Sarrainodu" audio release. I can never forget that compliment.

What are your upcoming projects?
Rakul has ended the interview by saying that her next project "Thani Oruvan" is with Ram Charan and one more project is with Sai Dharma Teja.
