Rajamouli receives ANR National award

The annual award ceremony of ANR National award has been celebrated this year as well and S.S.Rajamouli was honored for his contribution to the Telugu film Industry. The ceremony was preceded by the honorable chief minister of Telangana, KCR and Vice President M.Venkaiah Naidu.

M.Venkaiah Naidu said “This facilitation is to inspire others. Rajamouli can carry any challenge on his shoulders as he is Baahubali himself. His creative vision put Indian cinema on the world map for the first time and I think he is a worthy recipient of the ANR National Award. ANR never let his age interfere with his art during his 64 years long acting career and this is a great moment to witness Rajamouli receive such honor. I wish him all the more success in his creative experiments and the long road ahead” Chief Minister

K.Chandra Sekhar Rao said “I feel so proud to honor Mr.Rajamouli with the prestigious ANR national award. a lot of people experiment, but all of them can’t succeed. Rajamouli has taken the Indian pride across the world. Though he made less number of films, All of them were a huge success. He’s paved the way for high budget Telugu films and showed that it’s a safe bet for high investments. I’ve seen Baahubali and it’s a visual masterpiece. I wish that he reached great heights in the film history.”

Awardee S.S. Rajamouli said “I thank the ministers present here for their efforts towards Telugu legacy. Akkineni Nageswara Rao first got a heart stroke in 1974, doctors operated on him and gave 14 years, He thought to himself, to live another 14 years with my willpower. Since then his numberplate for the car was 2002. He suddenly saw the number 9 somewhere and gave himself another 9 years to live. in 2011, He got bored of it and let his soul fade away. Though he is not here physically, ANR lives on. Only Bhisma and ANR were able to talk to death and command its arrival. I feel incredibly honored but vulnerable at the same time because of this huge responsibility ahead of me.” Akkineni Nagarjuna said “I thank Mr.K.Venkaiah Naidu and Mr.K.Chendrasekhar Rao for being here. My praise for Rajamouli will run out of words. I feel happy to be presenting this award to Mr.Rajamouli who took the Indian Pride to Global heights.”
