Playing Background Music is a new thing - Sai Karthik

Young composer Sai Karthik, who scored tunes for "Paisa", "Prathinidhi", "Pataas", "Asura" and few other films has completed his 50 films within no time. His 50th film “Raja Cheyivesthe” is going to be released very soon.

On this happiest occasion, Sai Karthik had few words with reporters.

Will you explain us about your movie career?

I have started my career by working in Call center in 2008 and from then I have given music to all the movies which came into my path. I have also given background score to movies like "Managala" and "Janda Pai Kapiraju" and also for 15 other movies. I have given music for 5 to 6 Kannada movies and 20 to 25 Telugu movies. I thank the directors and producers who gave me the opportunity. 

Which movie gave you good fame?

"Paisa", "Janda Pai Kapiraju", "Rowdy", "Prathinidhi", "Pataas", "Raju Gaari Gadhi", "Terror", "Run", "Thuntari" and "Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam" gave me a good name. I got the opportunity to work with legendary directors Ram Gopal Varma and Krishna Vamsi garu while composed about 250 songs and introduced many singers.

Why have you worked in more number of movies with Nara Rohith?
I have worked for “Shankar “with Nara Rohith. We had a great sync so I have given music for many of his movies.

You have not worked with big heroes; do you really mind that?
I feel low for this but I hope I’m going to get a chance in near future. In my career, I gave music for horror, comedy, commercial and romantic genres.Paisa’s “ Neetho Edho Cheppalani”, "Rowdy’“, "Nee Meedha Ottu” brought me fame. I'm afraid of doing remix songs, I have remixed 4 to 5 songs but I didn’t get any negative results. Keeping the actual rhythm I will just add few tunes.

Tell us about Raja Cheyi Vesthe?
This is my 50th movie; I liked the movie very much. Audio is a big hit already and I hope the even movie will get a good response, the background score is completely new.

What about your upcoming projects?
I’m working for" Supreme" and" Aapatilo Okadunnadu". I had few more projects which are under discussion.
