Not a usual cop - Nara Rohit on his role in Shamantakamani

Nara Rohit’s multi starrer ’Samantakamnani’ co-starring Sudheer Babu, Sandeep Kishan and Aadi is releasing this Friday on July 14th. The star shared his experiences and discussed his future projects with Moviepazes team.

Tell us about your character?

I play Ranjit, a cop in the film. I wasn’t keen on playing another cop as i’ve already done it before but after hearing the story, I just jumped on the project. The characterisation itself is funny with a cranky attitude and you nave know what to expect from Ranjit.

How well did the director handle 4 stars?

Sri Ram Aditya's level of clarity on this project is amazing. He finished the shoot in just 37 days and made the most out of his script. He knows what he wants from each of us.

You look toned down?

I’ve already lost 21Kgs for my next film with Pawan Mallela and still shedding more weight. The producers are planning to unveil my new look on my birthday and i’ll soon reveal more details about the project.

What’ll be your next project?

Currently, ‘Kathalo Rajakumari’ is due to release and I'm also working in ‘Veerabhoga Vasantaraayulu’, a multi starrer alongside Sudheer Babu. This is a strong concept oriented film and resembles Mr.Kamal Hassan's ‘Eenaadu’. Sudheer is playing a cop and I’ll be seen as an intelligence officer. Shamantakamani is Sri Ram Aditya's 2nd directorial and produced by Bhavya Creations. The film releases across Telugu states this Friday on July 14th
