No stay on the release of 'Patnagarh'

'Patnagarh', directed by National award-winning and internationally-acclaimed director Rajesh Touchriver, has got a piece of good news from the Supreme Court.  The apex court has refused to put a stay on the release of the sensible drama.  A three-judge bench of the SC has disposed of a petition against the film.  It said that the petitioner should move the Censor Board within 30 days in case she has any objection against the film.  

"We see no reason to entertain this petition under Article 32 of the Constitution of India in view of the statutory remedy already availed of by the petitioner.  The instant writ petition is dismissed accordingly," the Court said in its order.
