Nithya Menon in Savithri's character

Cinema is a perfect media which shows life of individuals, entertains and shares knowledge. Movie will reflect present world while enlightening us about the environment we are living in. There are many movies directed considering true stories. Even "Silk Smitha", who was an item girl in the then movies, life story has been directed as "Dirty Picture". For this movie Vidya Balan received a National Award. Now, Naga Ashwin "Evade Subramanyam" fame is making Savithri's story. Savithri garu shared the screen with many great artists like ANR, NTR, MGR and Shiva Ganeshan, she is well known for her expressions with eyes. Movie showcasts her real and reel life.

After considering many artists the director has decided that only Nithya can justify the role of Savithri. Even Nithya Menon gave green signal for this movie. Movie is in pre-production works and will be released in both Telugu and Tamil languages.
