After the massive success of Bhale Bhale Magaadivoy, Nani's next film Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha is creating buzz across the film circles even before its release. This film is all set to be released on 12 th of February. On this account, Nani met a few journalists to share some details about the film.

Reason behind choosing this title?
We had a tough time in naming this film. We've gone through many but nothing suited it. Then we started thinking about the core idea of the film and landed upon this title as it conveys the entire idea. It also possesses a special folklore style which suits the story. It's been while since movies are made with the backdrop of Rayalaseema. We wanted it to be authentic so we've chosen this lengthy title.

What's the story about?
Mahalakshmi is the lady love of Krishna. He loves her since his childhood but no one knows about it. He's a coward but never looks like one. Fear is a valuable thing and it only possesses the people who have desire for life. In this story, this fear comes in between Krishna and his love. How he transforms the fear into courage and wins his love is the entire story about.

Is Krishna a Bala Krishna's fan?
Yes, Krishna is a Balayya's fan in the film. This is interlinked to the plot. Krishna even escapes a danger by using the name of Balayya. I've played the role imagining how I would behave if I were a Balayya's fan. I have not imitated anyone. Bala Krishna sir was excited on hearing about this film. He asked me to inform him if the shoot happens while he's in Hindupur, so that he would visit us. He's going to watch it on the release day. Everyone is going to love the film.

Who's your favorite actor?
I'm a huge fan of Kamal Hassan sir. Apart from him I like anyone who gives best in their films.

How is it working with Hanu?
Earlier Hanu had approached me with the script of Andhaala Raakshasi. However, I was not connected to it. I felt it's not my kind of film and rejected it. Later he narrated a few scripts but none of them convinced me as well. Then he sat with me and questioned me about my tastes. Then the birth of this film's idea has happened.

Were you stressed for this film?
I'm not facing any pressure about the film's fate. I would've been tensed if my two previous films failed at the box office. However, one should work with sincerity irrespective of the success. Two decades back, audience used to worship heroes and support them even if some of their films were not so good. Now the times have changed and every actor has to prove his worth with every film he does.

About the success of Bhale Bhale Magaadivoy in overseas!
These days, audiences are very selective about the films they watch. Only the films with good content are being received. I was in a state of shock with the massive collections of Bhale Bhale Magaadivoy. It stood in the list of top grossersthere. This made me choose my films more responsibly.

About the hike in the remuneration!
When I was working as an assistant director for the first time, my salary was Rs.2500. For my second film I took home Rs.3500. I've increased my salary while being a mere assistant director, will not I now? (Laughs)

Any word about the Mani Ratnam movie?
I wanted to act under the direction of Mani Ratnam sir. However, the script had resemblance with a Hindi film and we shelved it. Now he's working on another script.

About your future projects!
I'm working with Mohan Krishna Indraganti on a Romantic film. I'm also acting in a film under the direction of Virinchi. Hereafter, I'm planning to release two films a year.
