Nagarjuna swept me off my feet: Nithya Shetty

Nitya Shetty, a new comer to the Telugu Film industry is being introduced with the film, Padesaavae. The makers are quite busy with the promotions of this film which is scheduled to be released no sooner. On this account, Nithya had a rendezvous with the media to spill some beans. Here are some of the excerpts from the interview:

Tell us about your role in this film.
I’ve played a character called Niharika. Audiences have watched many love stories and this one is a love story too. But it deals with the confusions involved in the relationships. I’m proud to say that Anoop Rubens sir is the musician for my first film. Every track of the audio is unique. I believe the movie is going to be a huge success.

How is it working with the director?  
She’s not only the director but also a close friend of mine. Working with her is a great pleasure to me. I was let free to try something new. She’s a dedicated person and never compromises when it comes to work.

A few words about your co-stars!
I’m happy to be working with Karthik. He used to entertain all of us in the sets. He’s all about fun. Sameera who acted as another lead in the film is now a good friend of mine. We two used to hang around all the time. Though she’s from Kashmir, she never had any issues with the dialogues.

Name your favorite actor in Telugu!
I was a huge fan of Naagrjuna Akkineni even before signing up this film. It’s a Dream Come True moment for me to have him associated with the film. I’m confident that this film is going to be a hit.

Your next projects?
I’m playing the female lead role in Rahul Ravindran’s Shobhan Babu. I’m working on two other films in Tamil as well.
