Akkineni Naga Chaitanya after grabbing a stupendous success with the film Majili is now gearing for his upcoming flick in Ajay Bhupathi's direction. After hitting a blockbuster success with RX100, Ajay Bhupathi selected mafia backdrop story for his second Telugu flick.

Initially the movie unit considered Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas as the main lead, but Akkineni Naga Chaitanya had grabbed this opportunity, Chaitu is going to play the role of an intensive police officer. The pre-production works are under process for this action entertainer which was titled as Maha Samudrudu.
