“My son has been trapped” - Raviteja’s mother

Several stars from Tollywood have been accused of drug abuse and are being sent notices to appear in court. Ravi Teja too was accounted for this case among 12 other celebs. Speaking on the issue, His mother Rajyalakshmi said “I’m very upset with the news. My son doesn’t encourage smoking, let alone drugs. They are trying to plant this on my son. Even Bharat’s cause of death isn’t due to narcotics, He was clean a few days before the incident and was even chosen for Big Boss. We didn’t attend Bharat’s funeral as per family traditions.”

She said Ravi Teja went back to shooting after Bharat’s demise only to not cause a loss for the producers. She pleaded not to associate Bharat with Ravi Teja. While the news said that the excise enforcements has sent notices to Ravi Teja, The department hasn’t announced it yet.
