“My Character is tailor made in 2 Countries” - Sunil

After beginning his career as a comedian, Sunil proved himself as a hero and is riding the success tide. The star’s latest film ‘2 Countries’ with director N.Shankar is all set to release tomorrow worldwide. Sunil spoke to the media about the film * We are remaking the Malayalam Super hit film in Telugu. My character is tailor made in the film, as its humorous 90% of the time. The film has come out really well and will be an emotional ride for the last 5 minutes.

* This is my fourth remake film in my career and I’ve already made two remakes in which Mr.Dileep Kumar has acted.

* I play a greedy character in the film who chases after money most of the time. But I don’t commit any severe atrocities except a few small gigs here and there. Then the love interests comes along and influences my character

* My previous two films didn’t do well and I think we should have released them at a more appropriate time. The theatre collections were profitable but since we haven’t spoke about them, nobody knows.

*I’ve been involved in the production since my first film onwards but when they were hits, nobody asked me why. So why are you asking it now? Everybody should also own their mistakes along with the success. For the film ’Anddalaramudu’, Trivikram delivered dialogues for free and nobody even mentioned it.

* Yes, the comedy genre in films has surely diminished. We used to have Bapu,Jandhyala and EVV and now Trivikram. But Trivikram is making films only with stars these days!

* Trivikram wanted to make a film titled ‘Banti’ but he’s currently playing an international match right now. It’s not apt to ask him to come play the gully cricket. It is best that he responds late on the matter because his market will also improve meanwhile

* I lost nothing after becoming a hero. I’ve become a hero after crossing several hurdles along the way and is not an easy task. For acting as a hero, I’m able to spend more time with my family.

* In my films, both the hero and the heroine will have equal importance. The character of heroine in our film is born and brought up in the U.S. So, our director cast a girl from the U.S

* I wanted to work in Agnyathavasi but didn’t work out. I’ve okayed two films as a comedian and another two films as a hero. I’ll announce the details soon
