“Mine was an energetic role in VOZ” - Lavanya Tripathi

After winning the Telugu audience over with her role in Andala Rakshasi, Lavanya Tripathi has been still relevant in the industry and doing a good number of films each year. With her latest flick Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi with Ram Potineni, the actress is hopeful on a hit. Lavanya spoke about her admiration for Ram and her role in the film, in the following interview…

How’s your role going to be in the film ?

My role in the film is very energetic and smart and very close to real life. I thank my producers and Director for the opportunity.

What’s the story about?

The story is very close to reality and talks about taking a light-hearted approach towards life. Many aspects of the film would connect with the new age audience and director has done a fine job on the subject.

Is your role a full length one?

I don’t care about the length of the role, only the importance of it. Recently, Samanta has done a brief role in Raju Gari Gadi 2 but made a good impact with her performance. Since I liked the character, I didn’t mind the length.

Would you be making lady-oriented films?

I would like to do such a film, granted a good script and a good director. Horror is my favorite genre but I rarely do horror flicks. I barely watch love stories but all the films I get to accept are love stories.

How was it working with Ram?

Ram is an amazing performer. I’m a huge fan of him and his acting in the film is really appreciable.

Reason for skipping a film with Geetha Arts?

Geetha Arts is like a mother banner for me. Since I couldn’t manage my dates with other commitments, I had to nudge out of the project with Geetha Arts.

What about your next projects?

Four of my films have been released this year and I’m looking forward to signing some more projects in the future. I’m being very selective in my scripts and have too many plans lined up for next year.
