Mehabooba first look poster from Puri

Puri Jagannadh is launching his next film with son Akash Jagannadh from next month. The film is titled Mehabooba and is set in the backdrop of 1971 Indo - Pak war. The director had released a first look at the poster of the film and another note about his intentions for making the film. The note said “After finishing 'Mehbooba' script, I

The note said “After finishing 'Mehbooba' script, I realized that I'm doing a highly intense and passionate love story for the first time ever which is completely out of the repertoire of ideas. It's a soulful love story in the backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. Irrespective of the blood relation I share with Akash Puri, It’s his love and fire towards cinema that’s making me do this film with him.”

He further mentioned that the film stars Neha Shetty as the female lead and Sandeep Chowta will be scoring the music. Also, that the film will be shooting in the picturesque locations of Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Punjab.
