Major Fire accident in Annapurna Studios

A huge fire accident took place at Annapurna Studios, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. A memorable set from Akkineni family’s 2014 film, Manam caught on fire, giving rise to huge flames around the area. The vicinity around the accident was immediately held under lockdown and no media coverage was allowed inside the studio. The mishap was believed to be caused due to a fire circuit within the set or a nearby source. However, an investigation is being conducted into this unfortunate event. Nobody was hurt during the incident but a lot of property was damaged.

The set supposedly costs 2 crores and has been there since the film Manam was shot. The set is also equipped with several solar panels and the floors are flexible for shooting soaps, films and any other reality shows.
