'Kurukshetram will be lauded for its distinct screenplay’ - Action king Arjun

Action king Arjun is acclaimed across south Indian movie fans for his command over the craft of Martial arts and daunting stunts. He recently achieved the rare feat of making his 150th film after a 36 year illustrious career. ’Kurukshetra’, Arjun’s 150th is an action thriller directed by Arun vaidyanath and its teaser was launched at Ramanaidu studios, Hyderabad on sunday. The prestigious project will be released in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages and is produced by Arun Vaidyanath, Umesh, Sudhan Sundaram and Jayram.

''Not your ordinary cop story''

Marking the event, Hero Arjun said ‘It’s a very humble moment to reach my 150th film after 36 years of my movie career. I thank all my producers, co stars and technicians for sharing the ride. The kind of multi dimensional cop i am in this film is contrary to my previous roles as a cop (20 - 30). I was committed to the project despite of my tight schedules because of its story and distinct screenplay. Prasanna and Varalakshmi Sarath kumar’s acting, Aravind Krishna’s cinematography and Naveen’s scores will greatly benefit the film. The film will be loved by the telugu audience as it is made with honest efforts from our producers’.

‘ Arjun is not only a great actor but also an inspiration to many. I feel honoured to be working in his 150th film. I have a great bond with Arun Vaidyanath and as a fun fact, me and Sneha met during Arun’s film which finally lead to our marriage. Producers are very passionate about the project and are also looking to make a straight telugu film in the future. I’m also currently playing antagonist in B.V.S Ravi’s ‘Jawaan’ and wish Kurukshetram a huge hit’ said Prasanna, actor of the film.

‘When director Arun flew down from the U.S to narrate the story, he quickly won us over with its thrilling, suspense and emotional factors. We wanted the film to be experienced by as a large number of audience and hence chose Mr. Arjun for the lead.’ said Umesh, one of the producers.
