Krishnashtami Platinum Disc Function

Ace producer Dil Raju’s upcoming film, Krishnaastami is all set to its release on 19th of this month. This film starring Comedian turned Hero, Sunil as the male lead is directed by Vasu Varma (of Josh fame). There has been a good response for the audio released recently and the team has held a Platinum Disc function in Hyderabad.

Dil Raju has handed mementos to the team members and spoke to the media. He said, “This story is capable of having a star hero as the protagonist. We’ve incorporated all the essential aspects which are expected in a Sunil’s film to this one. Vasu Varma has been diligent in making this possible. Vasu has asked me how I felt about the film after watching the first copy. I’ve raised my thumb up to show him my excitement. This film might even transcend my expectations post the release.”

He added, “One and half years ago, I’ve narrated this idea to Sunil and he said he’s in for it with no second thought. Later, on my insistence, Vasu listened to it and said it’s lacking something and worked on it for the next six months and prepared the complete version. If it’s not for Vasu, I wouldn’t be standing here today in front of you all. He’s with me while working on my blockbusters like Dil, Aarya, and Bommarillu. He’s a great writer and he’s going to prove himself as a good director as well with this film. We’ve abridged the film to keep it engaging and considered the advices of all the unit members to get a perfect outcome. We’ve even made changes based on the suggestion of the dubbing engineer regarding the climax sequences. I hope audiences will bless us with a huge success.”

Sunil said, “This is the costliest film in my entire career. I think I’ll never get a chance to work on a project of this scale in future. It’s a complete family entertainer. To be successful, one should be born intelligent or have an intelligent friend like Vasu Varma. Now I’m as happy as I was during the days of Maryada Ramanna.”

Director Vasu Varma said, “One can judge the success of a film by just having a mere glance of Dil Raju’s expression.  After showing him Josh, I’ve asked him how he felt about it and he said it was mediocre and his judgment was proven true. This time he’s completely happy with the outcome and shown his thumb which is an indication of success. Sunil has given more than what was expected from him. Dil Raju sir is a kind of person who does anything beyond his limits for the sake of a movie.”

Nikki Galrani, Chota K. Naidu, Ananth Sriram, Dinesh, Pruthvi and rest of the cast and crew were present at the event.
