Khaidi is a New Age Action Movie - Angry Hero Karthi

Khaidi is a stylish mass action entertainer directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj starring hero Karthi. The movie is produced by S.R. Prakashbabu and S.R. Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures and Co-produced by Tiruppur Vivek under Vivekananda Pictures banner. The movie is releasing grandly on October 25th on the occasion of Diwali. Hero Karthi spoke to the media.

How did this project get started?

Lokesh Kanakaraj came to the industry by making short films. He bagged a big hit with his first film itself. While narrating the story, he said to me that this is a different story that you like. There will be a full movie in four hours in one night. Within those four hours, there are so many suspense and thrilling elements. 

What is your character being in this movie?

One of the things I liked about this movie was my characterization. A 'prisoner' character who comes out of jail after 10 years. He has a daughter who he has never seen before. He doesn't even know what she looks like. Can he see his daughter or not? is all about the story.

What made you feel challenged?

Acting as a father is easy for me because I have a daughter. When I remake Vikramarkudu Movie in Tamil, I had to imagine that I had a daughter and act. But now that there is no such problem, everything is happy.

There is a good response to the dialogues in the trailer! Are there more dialogues in the movie?

Yes. You'll be thrilled with the dialogues in the movie. Every scene is fresh. The film is a new-age action film, but my character is mass. This is a unique combination.

Does Chiranjeevi's Khaidi Movie Release on October 28th?

I don't know that! This is a very good thing. Our movie will be a super hit just like Chiru's Khaidi. There are so many Important Characters in this movie.

What about music?

Music is very important when doing a mass action movie like this. Keeping an English song in the film is a new thought. Music is at the Hollywood level. Usually, a movie like this lasts two hours. But there is enough thrilling content so that we kept 2 hours 20 mins confidently.

What kind of research did you do for this movie?

We actually met the prisoners for this movie. The director said a lot of new things when we met them. Prisoners who have been in jail for a long time will feel happy when they see white color.

Did you shot the movie all night?

We shot a total of 60 nights. After making the film, the director is making a film with Vijay. All I have done so far is with talented directors.

I'm doing a family thriller with Jeethu Joseph. Jyothika is also acting in the film. The interview ended with Angry Hero Karthi.
