Jr. NTR to host Star Maa’s Bigg Boss

Following the success of the television show ‘Bigg Boss’ in Hindi (hosted by Salman Khan) and Tamil (hosted by Kamal Hasan), popular Telugu channel Star Maa has chosen Jr. NTR as the host. This is a novel venture into the world of television industry and the channel hopes the audience will receive it as a landmark moment for Telugu television.

‘Bigg Boss’ is the Indian version of a UK based reality show where a select group of contestants are locked in a common house without any contact with the outside world. They compete with each other to win a cash prize by saving themselves from eliminations based on viewer ratings and public votes.

Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi have had phenomenal success hosting ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeshwarudu’ and the only other name that still draws audience like fly paper is Jr. NTR. Business Head of Star Maa Alok Jain believes Jr. NTR will add the extra magic with his spontaneity and quick witted humour.
