Are you nervous about "Nanaku Prematho" release?

We have worked relentlessly many days for this movie. I'm tensed as the release date is approaching but not worried about the result. All of us are cautious in giving our best for the movie.

 

Four movies are ready for release at the same time...is this the right way of compete?

Everyone will talk about the competition in terms of records. Previously movies used to run for a year and in my generation, it was 175 days and it has come down to 2 weeks. What matters is not the number of days but the collection at box office. We had many situations where all the movies released at a time were successful. Need not be surprised even if all these 4 movies are successful.

 

Have you planned to work with Sukumar in your 25th movie? 

I had no idea about the count, however, when I googled, it has shown that it is my 30 or 31st movie. But as a hero, this is my 25th movie so we have mentioned it in posters and started focusing more on this movie.

 

What is the best quality you find in Sukumar?

Shooting in London is difficult because of its restrictions. Every day we used to wake up at 5'o clock and complete the first shot by 7 AM. The quality I liked in him is his hard working nature.

 

Your hair style and body language are different in this movie. What is the reason?

It's not just hair style and body language but also due attention was given to even smaller aspects. I was not sure if these smaller aspects are considerable but I felt the difference while I was dubbing.

 

What are the mass elements in this movie as NTR has a huge mass following?

I don't differentiate mass and class audience. I have worked in every movie expecting my fans to like them but few movies will be appreciated.

 

How are dance and fights composed in this movie?

At least one song in my movie should be of superb dance. I don't plan to perform greatly in all the songs. However, I would like to perform especially in at least one song in each movie. Fights composed by Peter Heins are innovative and will attract the audience.

 

Can you tell us about that one touchy emotional scene? 

I will not reveal that scene now as it's worth watching on the big screen only. I could not control my tears when Sukumar was narrating that scene. I cried holding Rajendraprasad. The scenes reminded my father. Sukumar and Cameraman Vijay Chakravarthy also became emotional.

 

Is the song "Don't stop" written considering your personal life?

No, Song was written just as a part of the movie.We just wanted a new type of song which is not a regular song. So all the scenes of the movie are of their own purpose.

 

Are you planning to start an own production house?

It's not that easy to start a production house.A dedicated staff is needed.  I & my brother have NTR Arts banner already which never gave us thought of starting an own production house.

 Stamina of Telugu movies has increased drastically...so is there any idea of releasing your movie's in other languages?

Telugu industry is completely changed in 2015, content .which is a fantastic year. It has proved its strength with the movie "Bahubhali" and the movies like "Srimanthudu" and "Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy" were successful because of content. Ramarao garu used to do different movies. Chiranjeevi's "Rudhraveena", Nagarjuna's "Geetanjali", "Shiva"," Annamayya", Sri Ramadasu are different movies. For me "Temper" was great. I have decided to act in the content based movies and planning to release "Janatha Garage" in Malayalam and Tamil.

Have you decided the title Janatha Garage for the movie or is it just a working title?

We have finalized the title and the shooting starts from Feb 10th.

 

What is the reason for not working in Nag's Oopiri movie?

The storyline of Oopiri is very good. But both the projects "Nanaku Prematho" and "Oopiri" started at the same time. I'm unable to adjust the dates and I don't want Nag sir to wait for me.

 

What are your next projects?

I'll work in "Janatha Garage" movie from Feb 10th. After that, I'm going to start a project from NTR Arts Banner but I'm not going to reveal the details right now.
