Siddharth, Trisha Krishnan, Hansika Motwani Tamil starrer Aranmanai 2 has being dubbed to Telugu as Kalavathi. Sunder C. is the director of this film which is scheduled to release on 29th of January. Hansika indulged in a chat with media in a press meet held in Hyderabad.

Sequel to Chandrakala:
This film is a sequel to Aranmanai which was released in Telugu as Chandrakala in 2014. When I was offered the role in Aranmanai, I was in a state of doubt as I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. But sunder sir believed in me and convinced me. I had played a village girl role in it. It was a huge success in both the languages. We are coming to the theaters anew with Aranmanai 2.

Playing a Pregnant women role:
For the first time in my career, I'm playing a role of a pregnant woman. I've done my homework on minute details like body language, sitting posture. Sunder sir said I've performed well and I consider them as the best compliments.

Issues with Trisha:
I've come across the rumors claiming me and Trisha being at loggerheads. I knew Trisha for quite a time and we are always on good terms. Never occurred a single instance where we had an issue with each other. It's been a great experience working with her.

Working with Siddharth:
It's my third film with Siddharth and Sunder sir. It's always a pleasure to work with them. With them aside in the sets, I feel myself at home.

Interest in Tamil films:
These days I'm finding Tamil scripts more unique and promising. Hence I'm doing more films there. If a good script comes my way, I'm ready to act in a straight Telugu film.

Horror Films:
Horror films scare me to death. But I can act in one (laughs). Chandrakala was the first horror film I've watched after 13 years and Kalaavathi is the second.

My take on Gossips:
I'm ok with the comments I receive on my work. But some people are interested in spreading  false news about my personal life. It's not my responsibility to acknowledge them.

Painting:
I love painting in my free time. Recently I've painted a 6 foot canvas of Guru Nanak and gifted it to my parents.

Future Projects:
I've committed to four projects in Tamil and nothing has been finalized in Telugu yet.
