Aadhi’s next film Garam is going to be released on 12th February. Madan (Pellaina Kotthalo fame) is directing the film and P. Surekha is the producer. On this note, Aadhi participated in a press meet to chat with the media.

How do you feel about the output?
We’ve achieved what we envisioned. All the elements such as drama, comedy are blended in a perfect way. Daddy has produced this film with no compromises at all. It’s a result of hard work of actors and technicians.

How is it working with Madan?
Madan sir is not only a director but even a good writer. He can handle any genre with great finesse. He has done a fantastic job in handling the emotional part of the film. I was stunned to witness his capabilities in dealing the action sequences. He’s got a thing for the humor too.

Tell us about your character in this film!
I’ve played Varaala Babu in this film. He’s a typical Rajamundry guy who speaks in East Godavari accent. It’s a complete entertaining character. I’m happy to work with Thriller Manju and Satya Prakash who had worked with daddy long back.

How is it working under your own banner?
I’ve come to know that producing a film is no easy task after watching daddy as a producer. I would say all the heroes must act in their own banners at least for a film, so that they’d know how passionate the producers are and how risky their position is. They can understand the value of the cinema. I’ve seen how tough it is to produce and market a film. It increased my respect for the producers and made me more responsible.

Highlights of the film?
A good director is the main asset of any film. A good director can turn even a simple story to great film. In our case, right from the concept to the direction, every element is going to be a highlight.

A few words about the cast!
Thanikella Bharani sir has brilliantly played the role of protagonist’s father in this film. Naresh sir has played a good character too. Pruthvi, Brahmanandam and Posani are going to entertain the audience. Now I feel I should’ve made daddy act in this film too.

When are you going to do a Kannada film?
Producer S.P. Babu asked me to act in the kannada remake of Pataas. However, I felt that the character is too matured to my image and denied it. Now the film is being remade in Kannada starring daddy and Ganesh. At present, I’m concentrating more on Telugu cinema. Garam has been sold at a very good price in Karnataka.

Your future projects?
I’m doing a film called Chuttalabbayi. Half of the shoot is done already. I’ve not signed any other movies. I’m listening to a couple of stories and if I find anything interesting I would start the shoot in no time.
