How do you select the stories?

I should like the story first and if I do, I give the green signal immediately. I listen to the story as a common audience and make sure the story is watchable by the whole family.

Are you tensed for the release as you’ve been scoring continuous hits?

I’m usually tensed before the release of any of my films. Producers invest a lot of money with a good faith in me and I fell tensed about the result.

MCA seems to have an amplified action?

The film will have an action mood but not any huge fights.

Tell us about your character?

My character is pretty low key in the film and will have all the regular problems of a middle - class youth that we see in our everyday life. He’ll become a hero when needed.

You’ve reached this stage with no film back ground.How do you feel?

I might not have a film background but a huge audience support was always there. Their support is what’s driving me and I think that it matters the most. Since I don’t have a back ground, I’m also not stuck in an image paradigm and been experimenting with different roles. I think I’m lucky in a way!

Tell us Sai Pallavi’s character

Sai Pallavi is definitely an asset for the film.

How was it working with Bhoomika?

I’ve never met such a pure hearted person in my life. When ever she used to buy something for her kids, she gets one for my kids too! She’s really become like a sister - in - law to me

We've heard about clashes between you and Sai Pallavi during the shoot?

We had quite a bit of fun working together, She’s one of the favorite co-stars that I’ve worked with

Reason for working with the director despite a poor portfolio?

I didn’t care about his previous work. I asked myself if I liked the story and agreed to do it.

How was the multi starrer story going on?

Both I and Nagarjuna liked the story pretty much. There’s a final sitting pending and we’ll make the news official if it works out.

What made you turn producer for ‘Awe’?

You might not have seen such a story on the Indian screen so far. When the director has narrated me the story, he wanted to rope in all the new comers but I suggested that If a story like this needs to reach the audience, it needs a good budget star cast. Hence, I chose to produce the film.
