I will make the prequel of 24 - Vikram Kumar

Vikram K Kumar has started his career with Ishq and proved as Director from “Manam” and from the recent movie 24 he has proved himself as a great director.  Movie is made from Studio Green and 2D entertainment where Suriya played three different roles. Samantha and Nitya Menon as heroines this movie is released recently and flying in the box office. On this occasion director Vikram K Kumar attended a press meet to share his happiness.

Response you are getting as a director....
Family audience and children are getting attracted to the movie and everyone is getting excited after watching the movie. I’m getting good response even from the industry. Everyone is asking about my presentation and I’m happy for the compliments. Suriya is so happy with result, till date everyone has seen Suriya as a great actor but with 24 movie he has proved as a passionate producer. I want to direct more number of films from the same banner.

Critics said that Cinema duration is too long.....
Each cinema will have different play.  We cannot show all movies within stipulated time and even audience will not talk about the duration. Good story does not depend on the time. Time doesn’t matter but the story presented will matter a lot.
In cinema when hero finds the watch, what he is going to do with the watch should be presented simply. If the scene is not presented well audience will lose interest in the complete movie.  It took me a very long time to think about the usage of watch in different scenes like emotional and love. 

If you direct it in a same manner will audience get bored?
If we are directing all the movies in a same manner it will be really boring, because of this I’ll always try to differentiate the movies from the old ones. We should move into the different zones…then we will get new thoughts. Many of them had written about the time but I just tried to present my style in the movie and I’m so happy that everyone has accepted it.

Are you planning to take the sequel?
Instead of taking the sequel I thought of going with the prequel. I’m ready with the script… the story behind our 24 will be shown in the prequel. It is going to take some time to get ready for the next project.

Tell us about your future ventures?
I have told story lines to Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu as they have liked the story they said “Yes” for the story lines. Talented director told that he is going to start with Allu Arjun and then with Mahesh Babu.
