What excited you about the story?

This story happens in 2 phases. One is from the times of LTTE Prabhakar and the other from our modern times. I played a journalist in this serious drama with no songs or comedy.

How was the director’s work?

Ajay Andrews did an immense research about the facts behind the film. He went and met with LTTE liberals and presented them accurately. Not everyone can do a film like this unless they know the director’s vision clearly.

How do you think this film will benefit you?

I want to do an offbeat film other than regular formulas. You can choose a commercial film at any time but films like these are rare.

How was it working with Manoj?

Manoj is an intense actor. He dominates the screen with his presence and perfect dialogue delivery. He is a hard worker when it comes to cinema.

Why didn’t you get a break yet?

Even I don’t have an answer for that but I was never worried about it. I kept on signing whatever projects that came my way.

What are your next projects?

I finished a film in Tamil and recently acted in Naresh’s Vitalacharya. I’m acting in another Telugu film and will reveal the details soon.
