I played a boy next door in the film

Young hero Sundeep Kishan’s latest film c/o Surya is getting a good response at the box office and here is the interview that explores the star’s experiences about the film…

How is your character in the film going to be?

I played a boy next door in the film. This feels like a continuation of Karthi’s character from Na Peru Siva. This is the story of friendship and emotional drama.

Tell us about Suseendaran?

This is Suseendiran’s first straight film. He is a very genuine human being and his works reflect the same. Every film of his is placed close to reality.

What are the differences between Telugu and Tamil versions?

There is a slight difference between the Telugu and Tamil tracks in a way that Telugu version has an elaborate love track.

How is Mehreen’s character in the film?

She has a very fun character in the film, like almost a rowdy! It’s fun every time she appears on the screen and she acted pretty fine in the film.

How was it working with Mr.Suseendaran?

Suseendaran is one of the best directors I’ve worked with. He works more on the actor’s performance and story rather than technicalities. The technical excellence just follows the story.

Did you show the film to someone?

We screened the film in Tamil and everybody said that it would be a hit. We have to wait and see how big a hit it would be

How did you feel after Nakshatram flopped?

I really liked the script for Nakshatram and fulfilled my dream of working with Mr.Krishna Vamsi. I really put in a lot of time into it but am confident about my current film.

Your next projects?

I’m making a film with Manjula and Kartheek Ghattamaneni respectively. I’m also making a film with Karthik Naren in Tamil.
