I Have Clarity on What films to do and What not to do- Karthikeya

RX 100 hero Karthikeya starred as hero in the film Hippi. Nuvvu Nenu Prema fame TN Krishna directed this high budget film. Kalaipilu S Thanu produced this film under V Creations Banner. On the occasion of the movie release today, hero Karthikeya spoke to media.

Did you feel pressure selecting stories after RX100?

No i didnot feel any pressure because i have clariity on what films to do and what not to do. There is no confusion at all. I will do what I believe 100%.

There are romantic scenes in this film also. Do you think young people will expect this from you?

Not like that. In fact everyone will do romantic scenes, but the audience will accept only some. I feel great about that. Romantic scenes are different in RX 100 when compared to this film. I will get love stories for my age and have to do liplock scenes for that. 

Do you have some getups?

Long hair is used in the hippi getup. One more getup was there when I was a kickboxer and guitarist — one more getup with bowed head. 

Do the getups have a lifespan?

Some getups will be a part of the story, and some will be imagined.

The director does not have any movies. How did you agree?

I did not accept him by watching his film Nuvvu Nenu Prema. We have to like the story; We should know how he handles the story. I thought that he would narrate Emayachesave type of story. But the script was full of energy and joyful. While listening to the story, I was impressed.

Progress about gang leader shoot?

The shooting was almost completed. It was releasing in August.

Did you learn boxing?

I learned little martial arts when I thought of being a hero. Three months ago, I learned boxing.

Is it a sad ending?

Not only the events happened in the director's life, but it also includes events in everyone's life. A 15-year boy had already liked 3 or 4 girls in his life. If a girl enters his life, what happens is all about the story.

Is this a multistarrer movie?

This is definitely a multistarrer. There is no way of hero elevation and character elevation. Everyone will be elevated.   I want all the characters in my movies to have the same importance.
