21 Nov, 2017
Actor/politician Posani Krishna Murali invited a press meet in the recent heat of Nandi controversy. The actor went absolutely rampage on Andhra Pradesh government asking for justification in the apparently biased selection of Nandi award winners. Posani claimed that if the government doesn’t justify its selection process behind Nandi awards, he would reject Nandi Awards till his death. He urged the CM of Andhra Pradesh, Mr.Chandra Babu Naidu to impose a ban on the latest Nandi awards. He also pledged the CM to not make the Kamma caste Nandi award winners, the Rohingyas of Andhra Pradesh.
He added that If the government wants to give out their own awards, then they should do so with their own money and not from the funds raised by taxpayers. He thanked the media for covering his opinion on the issue.
