“I don’t stick to particular genre” - Aadi

Young hero Aadi’s latest flick Next Nuvve is releasing this Friday on November 3rd and the actor shared his insights behind the process and announced his next 3 projects in the interview below…

How did the story find you?

Mr.Prabhakar narrated me 20 minutes of the story and I gave my green light immediately. It’s really honorable to be working for Geetha Arts and something I will cherish for a long time.

Tell us about Prabhakar’s direction Since he is well aware of films, It was a pleasant experience to work with him. He finished the shoot in 37 days in a single schedule. The moment I heard the story, I knew we are scoring a hit. Prabhakar finished the shoot absolutely tension free.

Isn’t this a new genre?

I don’t have any rules as to stick to just one genre. I want to prove myself as an actor and ready to do all sorts of good films that come my way. I did Next Nuvve because I loved the screenplay of it. The mix between horror and comedy really excited me.

Are you aware that this film is a remake?

Yes. It's Yaamirukka Bhayame in Tamil. We adapted only a line from the film and everything else was made to suit the Telugu nativity. We didn’t even try to imitate the hero or anything.

Would you be making multi starrer films in the future?

Yes, definitely.

What are your next projects?

From now on, I’ll be working with new directors on concept-based films instead of routine ones. I have 3 films lined up with Studio green productions, out of which, 2 are bilingual and 1 is a straight Telugu film.
