I am proud about this movie - SivaLanka Krishna Prasad

Graphics were not that developed earlier and we used materials except for few scenes. Singeetham worked very hard to create a time machine which was transported in a truck. Desert set was made at chennai golden beach and donated the time machine to the beach. Movie was released as Apoorvashakti369 in tamil and mission 369 in hindi and was successful in both the languages... Said ShivaLanka Krishna Prasad, producer of Aditya 369 released in 1991. He attended a press meet on the occasion of 25 years of the movie. 

Will you recollect about the movie Aditya 369? 

First movie under Sridevi movies is Chinnodu Peddodu and was massive hit. After twenty days I have received a call from SP Balu. When i met him he said there is a wonderful story from Singeetham Srinivas which is gonna give me a established place in the industry. Met srinivas, who explained a time travel story showing srikrishna devaraya and the future. As it was new and promising I have decided to produce it. Balakishna said yes to the role immediately as he felt the taste in the script. Great technicians like Jandyala and Ilayaraja worked for this movie. 

How long did the shooting go on? 

Twelve long months. We are proud to work for such a movie. Balakishna justified his roles as engineer and Srikrishna Devaraya. 110 working days costing us 1 crore 52 lakhs which will cost at the least 60 crores today. All classes of audience watched that movie. Balakishna worked very hard for the movie especially for the getups and makeup. That dedication in him is still alive. All the artists like Amrish puri, Chandra mohan and Tinu justified their roles. Many opined that movie is advance but because of it's success we could get our budget back. 

Are you planning for a sequel? 

There are news that Balakishna and Singeetham are working for the sequel. Couldn't confirm anything about it as Balayya is busy with his 100th movie. 

Why did you give up producing movies after such a Blockbuster movie? 

Lack of aggressiveness in me is the reason for me not to make movies immediately. After Aditya 369 approached chiranjeevi for two small ads which he agreed immediately.It was my mistake to give up on production. To approach Balayya again I took three years. Started working on dubbing movies and lost my pace. I want to run fast now.
