Yet another actress, Latha Hegde is all set to make her movie debut with the film "Tuntari", Nara Rohith as hero directed by Kumar Nagendra from Sri Keerthi Films and produced by Nagarjuna and Ashok.  Cinema is going to finish all the events and will hit the theaters on  March 11. On this

On this occasion, Latha Hegde at a  press meet...

How did you bag this offer?
Though I was born in Bangalore, I was raised completely in New Zealand. I started off as a model and won the Miss New Zealand crown there. Post that event, I got a call from India for this film. Initially I thought it was a prank but later on realized that it was true and reached Hyderabad for an audition which went successfully.

What’s your role in the movie?
My character name in this movie is Siri, a decent girl who loves sports. She also holds interest as a sports person. I will love, Raju(Nara Rohith) thinking he is a boxer.

How was your working experience with Nara Rohith?
He is such a wonderful person to work with. As told earlier, I faced a lot of problems during the initial stages of filming and Rohith helped me a lot and gave me huge confidence to perform before the camera.

What are your feelings about the director?
Kumar Nagendra is an amazing director; his working style is completely different. We won’t get stressed and sets used to very quiet. Encouraging person. I took almost 10 to 11 takes for a single shot; I thought the director is going to scold me but Kumar didn’t have at least a word for that.

Have you gone for any training in acting?
I didn’t take much time to learn acting, but I have gone for a short-term acting course. Before each and every scene of the movie, they used to conduct a workshop, I have learned from there itself.  I used to have tension before the shooting as I’m not good at acting and I’m not familiar with the language. When you see the cinema, I’m good at second half and climax when compared with the starting scenes.

Who is your favorite hero?
After accepting the film in Telugu I saw the film 'Aagadu'. Watching through, I  became a big fan of Mahesh.
