First day response is a surprise - Koratala Shiva

"Janatha Garage" starring NTR, Samantha, Nitya Menen & Mohanlal is directed by Koratal Siva and produced by Maithri Movie Makers is released worldwide on last Friday. On that occasion, a press meet was held at production house today.

Producer Naveen Yerneni said, "Our movie has got a good response from all the centers saying it's not just good it's a blockbuster. The first day was a sensation at many centers. The movie is released in 2000 screens and has crossed the record of "Srimanthudu" overseas. Our movie will be next to "Bahubali" in collections."

Director Koratala Siva said, " appreciations from industry legends initially surprised me as this huge response was not expected. We are very happy with the response. It is great to hear from the distributors that they are gonna be safe with first week collections. Many ladies appreciated and said they want more family movies like this. Being a hat- trick hit my responsibility has raised.  

Mohanlal said, "The response in Kerala is also positive. The movie can better be called classic."
