‘Fidaa’ deals with sensitive relations - Varun Tej

Varun Tej is rolling out consecutive films like kanche, loafer, mister since Mukunda. The star’s latest love entertainer ‘Fidaa’ with director Shekhar Kammula is set to hit the theaters this Friday. The star shared a few words about his role and other aspects of the film.

Can you brief us on the story for Fidaa?

Shekhar Kammula’s fins are not that strong on the story, Just a delicate thread binds all the characters. But he is amazing at bringing out the emotions in the film. he portrayed the wavering relations between a father and his daughter, brothers and a couple very poetically.

Did Mr.Chiranjeevi watch the film?

No. I’m planning to watch the film in these next 2 days with my uncle.

How was your character design?

Though I’ve no idea about medicine in real life, I played a medico in the film. I stayed at Banswada in Nizamabad and was a great experience to cherish.

Sekhar Kammula’s films usually aren’t big on Heroism right?

Not necessarily, For that matter, even Kancha doesn’t have any heroism. There is a fight in this film and it wasn’t created to support my image.

You think Mega fans will be pleased?

I know their pulse. They prefer a good film over an over emphasized action entertainer. I would like to do action fins as well but still looking for a good script.

How about a movie under Konidela Productions?

Me and Charan talked about it last night and I showed my willingness too. We are waiting for the right script.

Do you want to support your father as a producer again?

Not just a producer, I would support him in anything he needs.

What did you learn from Sekhar Kammula?

when ever i work with a director, I don’t express what i want. I just observe what they need. Shekhar Kammula has great clarity on his subject. It was a great experience working with him Any details on your next project? My film with Venky Atluri will commence from next week.
